Remove Bathroom Mirror Clips [March 2021]

We may earn compensation through affiliate links in this story.

The process of removing the mirror clips is simple and self-explanatory. The only thing you need to do is remove the screw that holds the clip in place.

Once the screw has been removed, pull out the clip from the wall or mirror. It might take a little tugging, but eventually it should come loose. If you have trouble with any part of this process, please visit your local hardware store for additional help or contact a handyman service in your area for assistance.

Be very careful here as these clips keep the mirror in place. Without them the mirror could be loose and fall. Always work with a partner and use a professional service when possible.

Here is a quick list of things you will need to remove the clips:

Screwdriver (Phillips-head)
Flathead screwdriver (to pry up the new clips after they have been installed)
Old clips (if you are removing them with a screwdriver) Hammer or rubber mallet Level Tape measure Level (optional, but recommended) Stud finder Level (optional, but recommended) Paint brush or roller Paint and paint supplies for touch-ups Zip ties Utility knife to help remove old caulk
