A large mosaic mirror is a great way to make a statement in any room. Whether you have two walls that are opposite one another, or just one, the large mosaic mirror can be used to frame that wall. There are many different ways of decorating with a large mosaic mirror, and this blog will show you all of your options to help you decide which ones best suit what you need.

Classically, the large mosaic mirror is a statement piece that is hung in an entryway, above a console table or mantle. It has always been seen as a great way of accentuating symmetry and adding to your decor.

If you have a large, open room with walls that are opposite each other and the room is symmetrical, you can hang a large mosaic mirror on both of the walls. This will give you two places to situate yourself while looking at yourself in the mirror. While you are sitting on one side, your reflection will look even more beautiful back at you from the opposite side of the room.

Another way of hanging a large mosaic mirror is to hang it in an entryway or foyer. In this case, the mirror can be hung a little higher or lower than a sitting height. You will not be sitting on both sides of the mirror, but you can still use it as a great accent piece and an alternative to just having one large wall mirror.

If you do not have any walls opposite one another, but you do have one large wall that is larger than what would allow for a traditional style of hanging a mirror, then you should hang your large mosaic mirror horizontally on that wall. This will allow the mirror to stretch across the entire wall, giving you two different places to situate yourself while looking in the mirror.

Instead of hanging a large mosaic mirror horizontally on a wall, you can hang it vertically on the wall. This will keep it from blocking your other decor, but still give you multiple places to look as well. You can also use this option if there is a tall ceiling in your room and you would like to hang a large mosaic mirror on that wall (as opposed to hanging one vertically).

If your window is at waist-height, then another choice for decorating with a large mosaic mirror may be attaching it to an over-the-door hook. This will give you the convenience of being able to hang a mirror over, but still give you multiple options for where to look and situate yourself.

Do you have a large wall? If so, then decorating with a large mosaic mirror is an option that you can consider. It can be used in many different ways, and best of all it adds beauty to any room.
