If you’re looking for a low-cost way to spruce up your bathroom mirror, consider making a DIY frame. It’ll make the space feel more personal and chic.

Step 1: You’ll need two pieces of wood that are the same size as your mirror (pro-tip: grab some cheap spare pieces of wood from the hardware store or garage).

Step 2: Draw a rectangle on one board that is three inches wide and the width of the mirror (this is your frame, and it’ll be cut to size after you’re finished).

Step 3: Cut two matching pieces of wood with your circular saw so they can fit the frame.

Step 4: Attach the frame together by using wood glue and screws (make sure to line up the parts with a ruler beforehand).

Step 5: To make it look more finished, use a 1.5 inch square nailer cut into four pieces (they should match up with your corners on the frame) to add some wood trim. Screw them in place.two inches deep. Then do the same for another board smaller than your mirror. You’ll want to apply a little wood glue or painters tape on the back of your boards before you make your cuts.
